Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
We’ll Start Our Walk and Camp at Terelj National Park via Overland by Jeep
You will take a packed lunch from town and drive toward the Khan Khentii Mountain ranges. You will stop at the Turtle rock to explore the area and to have your lunch. You then continue your drive to the Princess camp of the Khan Khentii S.P.A. The drive is about 2 -3 hours from the capital. On arrival in the mountains you will be taken to the Princess ger camp. Late afternoon you will have horse riding in the area . Dinner at the ger camp.(L, D)
Walk and Camp at Terelj National Park – Ox-Cart Ride to the Princess Temple Ruins
After a relaxed breakfast you will ride an Ox-cart like a nomadic Mongols to Princess temple ruins. We ride and walk about 8 km through the spectacular valleys and across small rivers surrounded by highly – eroded rock formations of the Khan Khentii Mountains. Packed lunch on the way. Visit the ruins of the Princess Temple, was built in 1740. Explore around the temple. Return to the ger camp. Dinner and overnight at the ger camp. (B, L, D)
Overland by Jeep to Ulaanbaatar
Today after lunch you will return to Ulaanbaatar. In the morning if can have some botanic walk in the ger camp area. Those who wish to ride horses welcome to ride through the valleys crossing the mighty Tuul river. (B, L)
